National Manager, Professional Development & REALTOR®
Tracey Royal is the National Manager of Professional Development for Compass International Holdings, parent company of Coldwell Banker Realty. In this role, she leads strategic, enterprise‑wide programs that elevate agent development, accelerate productivity, and strengthen the company’s competitive advantage nationwide. Her immediate focus is the New to the Business Program, a strategic initiative aligned with Compass’s focus on agent productivity, retention, and long‑term growth—designed to equip new agents with the skills, structure, and support needed to reach productivity milestones faster and build durable businesses.
With more than three decades in real estate, Tracey brings a rare blend of hands‑on sales experience and executive leadership. She built and sustained a successful real estate sales business early in her career—experience that continues to inform her practical, results‑driven approach to agent development. That frontline credibility shapes programs grounded in what actually drives production, conversion, and client trust in today’s market.
Tracey previously served as Vice President of Agent Development for Coldwell Banker Realty’s Chicago City Region, where she supported five offices and nearly 900 affiliated agents, driving growth through coaching, training, and strategic talent development. Beyond her corporate leadership, she has held influential volunteer leadership roles across the industry, including service on the Boards of Directors for the Chicago Association of REALTORS®, Illinois REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®. She also served three terms as president of both the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Chicago and Illinois Networks.
Her leadership and impact have been recognized with numerous honors, including the Chicago Association of REALTORS® REALTOR® Achievement Award, the Illinois REALTORS® President’s Award, and the Heroine of Housing by the Oak Park Regional Housing Center. A licensed instructor and national speaker, Tracey is widely respected for her dynamic teaching style, advocacy, and her signature #TheRoyalEffect—a philosophy rooted in clarity, empowerment, and transformation that helps agents turn knowledge into results.
